Biography

I am currently a Lecturer in School of Computing at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. I am working in the IoT research lab led by Prof. Tao Gu. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science from RMIT University, and B.Eng. in Software Engineering from Southwest University for Nationalities, and experienced M.Eng. in Distributed Computing from the University of Melbourne. I am a member of ACM and IEEE.

My long-term research goal aims to explore innovative ways of smart sensing and embedded AI to facilitate the building of novel applications. My research interests broadly lie in Cyber-physical Systems in the field of Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing, On-device Machine Learning, Embedded and Edge AI, Drone Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, and AI-based IoT Data Analytics. I was also a Senior Software Engineer with solid working experience in IT industry. Please visit the below reserch profile page for more details.
